Resort Umbria Spa

Telephone Welcoming very welcome, confirmed booking pointing out that I spent my birthday there. The Day to day arrival email sent that there was an accident and they had closed the highway but that we would arrive the Same despite the delay. Arriving at the site, in total darkness, in the middle of nowhere, the resort was closed. No messages from reception, no communication. At 10.30 a.m. In the evening, we had to protect ourselves with a hotel in the street... skipped birthday, skipped weekend and not even the good taste of those who managed the reservation to apologize. Structure to forget. In all this I wonder: the guests left alone, if something had happened?

I chose this property for a special weekend with my partner, and I could not have wished for better. The place is magical: surrounded by greenery, perfectly integrated with nature, and a few minutes from Blacksmith and Città della Pieve... but with an atmosphere that makes you forget time. From the booking to the reception (thanks Maddalena!), everything has been taken care of in every detail. The SPA is beautiful and spotlessly clean, the outdoor pools manicured and relaxing. A separate chapter deserves the Restaurant, where Vasilij made us discover traditional dishes between Umbria and Tuscany prepared with passion and local raw materials. Every course, from breakfast to desserts, was a real surprise. Staff always friendly, helpful but never intrusive: the perfect mix to fully live an experience of relaxation and taste. We will be back... and will definitely recommend to friends!

We found the Resort Umbria SPA in need of accommodation for an intermediate stage of a trip. We chose it on the trust of positive reviews read both here and on Booking and preferred to many others for the peculiarity of being "pet friendly structure". The room we stayed in is a small wooden chalet with all the amenities that can be useful even for a short break like ours. A praise to the reception team, having met both Maddalena (reception II shift) and Maricela (reception I shift). In addition to them, the dining room and kitchen service staff, masterfully directed by the Chef, Vasile, who in his extreme elegance in the face of ecstatic comments about the exquisite dinner that we allowed ourselves, was pleased to entertain us explaining how all the courses offered to Guests are the result of his work in person, producing superb 100% natural jams with which he stuffs pies and cheesechake to which he adds a special and personalized touch. A note of merit to the side spinach, which was able to give a perfect balance of seasonings to obtain a flavor of 10 and praise. Congratulations also to his wife Barbara for the courtesy with which he served us dinner and the sincere admiration with which he reported to the Chef our opinions on the courses. The accommodation blends perfectly with the tranquility and unlimited spaces of nature of an endless countryside, which even if unknown to most, offers a feeling of extreme comfort and mental and physical break from the hectic pace of daily life. We checked out promising to return to have the opportunity to test the SPA which, given its small size, offers the luxury of being able to be used for 2 hours in absolute privacy, since it is the care of the Staff to be able to ensure it to couples or families in its entirety. Not to be overlooked are the two pools, impeccably maintained. It is never obvious to book a structure "in the dark" and be so pleasantly surprised once you realize that the result is a real success of tranquility, comfort and sincere attention to the customer, with elegance and pleasure to exchange a chat discovering that they have many points in common. We look forward to returning to enjoy time again in a place where hours seem to stop surrounded by unique landscapes and truly inimitable kindness. All right!!! See you soon!
