Hotel surrounded by greenery and tranquility... rooms well-kept and complete with everything necessary. Wonderful garden and outdoor spaces, also the possibility of indoor parking. Breakfast made to order (not buffet) of excellent quality and varied. The staff and the receptionists are very kind, helpful and friendly. Small note: lack of air conditioning, but it is understandable if we think about this unexpected summer, particularly hot and muggy.

"Villa Cristina", not a simple hotel in Collerisana, a stone's throw from Spoleto, but rather an invitation to rediscover that harmony with creation that the hectic life of the arid city makes one forget. The creaturely light of the morning, in fact, welcomes the guest in a riot of colors, from the green of olive trees and pines and cypresses to the yellow of the roses to the violet-orange of the well-kept hedges. The tempera of the sky spreads drops of blue on the sharp profiles of the hills, while the chirping of sparrows, the distant echo of bleating along the valley and the call of a hen brighten the light air. On the left, the miracle of the cathedral bell tower and the fortress of Albornoz. Then, under an orderly gazebo, a breakfast that is sumptuous to say the least begins: white focaccia with rosemary, Umbrian prosciutto, deliciously aged and tasty, soft cheese, croissants with custard and jam, bread on which to spread wildflower honey of our own production and fresh sheep's milk ricotta, homemade apple or apricot cakes. And if, finally, the good morning is given by the cordial and affectionate smile of the owner, Mrs. Annamaria, thoughtful and attentive, and of the empathetic jack-of-all-trades Mrs. Tiziana, then, dear guest, you will feel in your heart a delicately Franciscan fullness. Yes, you will let yourself be caressed as if by magic by the "wandering hands of nature" (Cézanne) and you will know that an antidote to the tragicomic daily life, to the frenzy of city life, to the concrete of the buildings and to the poisons of the exhaust fumes exists and has a name: "Villa Cristina" in Collerisana, near Spoleto, not a simple hotel. Beautiful location as they say today, simply delicious welcome by Mrs. Annamaria who was very nice with valuable directions for our short soggiorno.Stanza very well furnished with views of the surrounding hills magico.Sicuramente to recommend and hope to be able to return shortly.
