Clean, welcoming property. Good restaurant

I stayed one night at the Michelangelo hotel with my family for the Wine Love Festival in Terni. The young man at the reception was super kind and charming, welcoming us properly. The room was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was superb, the waitress was very kind, and when the pancakes were finished, she prepared them in 5 minutes. They pay attention to those with intolerances, providing vegan croissants and pastries... We had a really good time; I highly recommend the establishment.

Charming hotel just across from the train station, which was very convenient. Free basement parking that was a little hard to locate, but it is right beside the hotel via an unmarked driveway down. The lobby was so interesting—pink tufted sofas and lots of art by a Sicilian American artist with one eye, a motif that is repeated in many of the paintings. Everything worked great, beds were comfortable, and I know I had a neighbor but I could not hear them at all. Both front desk clerks speak some English and are very helpful. Bountiful breakfast included in the reasonable price. The only sour note was our meal in the rooftop restaurant, and unfortunately it stands out as the only truly bad meal in a three week trip.
