Hotel Green Assisi

We stayed one night in a van to visit Assisi. The shuttle that takes you to the center is convenient. We had a good time.

We stayed at this campsite and it is truly a beautiful property: spacious and quiet areas, clean bathrooms, a wonderful pool and a truly strategic location for visiting Assisi. The restaurant/pizzeria is excellent, very welcoming and with a fantastic piano bar that made us have a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the sore point concerns the management and the rudeness of the reception. We were a group of campers at a rally and we had booked (and regularly paid for) the area with the indoor kitchen as well. We had been guaranteed that we would be able to use the spaces until 4:00 PM on Sunday, but then we had to insist to be able to stay until 3:00 PM, because according to them we should have left at 2:00 PM. They were unyielding and decidedly rude in their manner. A truly unprofessional behavior that ruined the end of our stay. It is a real shame, because for everything else the property would be five stars, but the attention and care for the customer at the reception leave much to be desired.

Quiet and clean chalets, overall quite good. The only flaw is the pool bar, they didn't issue a tax receipt in 4 days of stay and we had quite a few drinks.
