Hotel Terme all'Alba

The rooms are very spacious, clean, and well-equipped. However, they should also be renovated sometime. (large cracks in the walls, drains in the bathroom, toilet flush defective). There was no table on the balcony of my room. The kitchen is very good. Only unfortunately, the dishes are not really warm. The entire hotel has really aged and would urgently need a renovation. Especially the swimming pool! In the changing room, the cabins/showers can no longer be locked, and the outlets and switches have no covers. Most of the massage jets in the pool do not work - just like in April. The staff at the hotel reception, the bar, and in the restaurant is always friendly and very eager - only the lady at the reception in the wellness center does not seem very customer-oriented.

Hotel with some definitely positive aspects, others instead that need improvement. I will try to summarize what in my opinion should be improved: Breakfast room not air-conditioned, access to the pools only by passing through the lobby (which in my opinion is a bit unusual... usually elevators reach the pool area without having to walk through the lobby in a bathrobe), pool too deep (I am 1.70 m tall and could not touch the bottom), several hydromassage jets not working, no complimentary toiletries in the bathroom and the bath mat was also missing, only two pillows in a double room, restaurant tables very small and very close to each other, in general a nice update would not be bad. The food was good (not excellent but good), the salad and boiled vegetable buffet was a bit always the same, waiters kind to a fault (too many "dear," "honey"... it felt like we were in a nursing home). Certainly with a few improvements it would be almost perfect!

Beautiful property with large lounges. Kind and helpful staff. Spacious rooms and adequate cleanliness. Good dining with very active staff. Two beautiful indoor/outdoor pools, but with little maintenance and cleanliness. A serious flaw is the lack of civic respect from the guests and of the rules set by the hotel.
