Camping Cisano Spa

We booked a Luxury Lodge at Camping Cisano San Vito via Suncamp. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. The static caravan was very old and gave us the impression of being at least 25 years old. We also absolutely do not find the term Luxury Lodge fitting for what we found. The arrival at the campsite was messy and chaotic and little was explained. The reception by the Suncamp employee was fortunately much friendlier and clearer. The biggest annoyance was the location of the static caravans. They are so close to each other that there is hardly any privacy. You can hear your neighbors walking, talking, and basically everything that happens around. The cleaning was also insufficient. The kitchen was particularly filthy: the oven and microwave were sticky and there were bugs in the kitchen cabinets. Besides, showering regularly was a matter of hot-cold-hot-cold due to the changing water. The bed for two people was fortunately fine in terms of length and width. With our own things, we slept comfortably there in the end. The space around it is however extremely cramped. Actually, the whole caravan is small, narrow, and low, so you quickly have to help yourself. The surroundings are beautiful in contrast. Bardolino and Lazise are definitely worth a visit and easily accessible by car or bicycle. The Gardameer itself is of course beautiful. For swimming and sunbathing, we found the facilities at the lake to be quite primitive: narrow, stony beaches and in many places you are literally next to the walking and cycling path. In short: a beautiful environment, but our Luxury Lodge absolutely did not live up to the name. No repetition for us.

We booked a SunLodge caravan Aspen via Sun Holidays at Camping Cisano/San Vito. Upon arrival, we first had to check in at the central reception of the campsite. Then we could go to the other side of the road, where we were received by a very unfriendly man with a big beard. He apparently assumed that we already knew everything and had it in order, such as the wristbands and the sticker for the car. When this was not immediately the case, we got a rather intimidating knock on our car. Fortunately, we were kindly received by the lady from Suncamp afterwards. After we gave the authorization for the deposit, we got the key to number 7, the so-called Luxury Camping Lodge. However, from "Luxury" there was little to notice in our opinion. The travel trailer made a very old-fashioned impression and looked at least 25 years old. The passage to the bedrooms is about 60 cm wide and several parts of the furnishings are also clearly in need of replacement. The kitchen tap held up all week luckily, but every time I used it, I was afraid it would give out. Luckily we didn't pay the top price, but if you were to pay €2,500 per week for this in the high season, the disappointment would be quite big. We also do not like the price-quality ratio of this accommodation. The location of the campsite is, on the other hand, very pleasant. Certainly if you have a bike like us. From the campsite, you can easily cycle to various nice places and sights in the area. Be careful of pedestrians on the cycle path while on the way. Overall, we had a nice week and enjoyed the surroundings, but that was mainly due to the location and what we did outside the accommodation. Unfortunately, for us it is: **a beautiful environment, but this accommodation never again for us.**

Let me start positively with this review. The location of the campsite is great with Bardolino and Lazise within walking distance. There is a fantastic swimming paradise with slides and an animation team, and the supermarket is well-stocked, maybe a bit more expensive than the Lidl further away, but okay, the holiday can cost a bit, right? The campsite also looks well-maintained and has the option to do laundry for a fee. For this you pay €5 for washing and the same for drying your laundry. Now for the less positive part of the review; The campsite is set up too cramped. The caravans are too close to each other, so sometimes you can't see out. Also due to the tightness of the setup, you can sometimes lose the car near the caravan or in the immediate vicinity. Many try this, which means roads are blocked, which in turn creates dangerous situations. This is not supervised (in my opinion). The crowds at the pool are sometimes a source of annoyance too. There are indeed many sunbeds, but many are kept occupied (maybe for the children who are in the pool all day?), but because of this, others have to look for solace with a towel on the grass. Not nice then. But let's end this review on a positive note, it was wonderfully quiet at the campsite at night, which allowed us to sleep well.
