Hotel Capri

Excellent hotel, roughly 10 minute walk to promenade or town. All staff were really welcoming and nothing was a problem! Our room looked like it had recently been redecorated and was massive, with a large wardrobe, tv, 2 chairs, small round table with 2 chairs, a private balcony and a really modern bathroom, with a fantastic rainshower! Breakfast was great, with choices of hot &/or cold offerings, along with homemade pastries/cakes, which was a lovely treat! The pool area had plenty of beds which you didn't have to reserve, pool was a littke small, you could get drinks/snacks delivered to your table using the hotel app. All in all a lovely stay and would definitely stay there again!

I agree with the positive reviews I read. The only note concerns the pool, which is small in size and surrounded by buildings. Not an optimal solution, also considering the pools of other nearby hotels.

This was my first time to Lake Garda and I don't think I could have had a better experience, this hotel being a major part of that. On arrival we were warmly greeted, shown to our room and all the services were fully explained. Air conditioning was on constantly in the room, which was a godsend in the extreme heat. Free toiletries are supplied. A free safe is provided also. The mini bar is well stocked and also not super expensive. All areas of the hotel are absolutely spotlessly clean. We were in a refurbished room on the 3rd floor. The room was serviced every day and the bedding was changed 3 times during a 10 night stay. Breakfast was very good, with a good range of hot and cold foods (including fresh salmon and Prosecco). We never once had to wait for sunbeds and the app for ordering food and drinks to your sunbed or table was excellent and very easy to use. The staff were amazing and this was apparent when we seen them greeting returning guests. The location was ideal, with only a 5 minute walk to Bardolino centre or the lakeside and a supermarket just on the other side of the road. Some road noise, so if you're sensitive to that, then it may impact slightly on your break. (Although it couldn't be heard inside the room with the door closed). If I could ask for one thing extra, it would be a kettle in the room, however, I can understand why there isn't one and it made very little difference to our stay. In 35 years of travelling, my wife and I have only tried to rebook the same hotel a couple of times. This is definitely one we will try to return to.
