My experience at this hotel in Cortina was unfortunately disappointing, and I think it is right to share it constructively so that ownership and management can reflect and improve. During my stay I lost the room key: an unexpected event that can happen to anyone. On my return, however, around 1:30 am, I discovered to my surprise that the reception was completely closed and no one was available. I tried to call the number given, but no answer. Only thanks to the availability of another sister hotel I managed to have a temporary room not to sleep in the car: a real stroke of luck, certainly not a procedure provided by the structure. The next morning I was confirmed that there is no Assistance Service at night. Now, the question is simple: if a client had a real urgency, a health problem, or the need to return to the room to take medication, how would the situation have been resolved? This is not a detail, but a matter of safety and respect for those who pay to stay in a hotel. The receptionist, politely, told me that she had reported the incident to the managers, who would guarantee to organize better for the future. I appreciate the intent, but I believe that certain gaps should not occur a priori: we are talking about fundamental aspects for the Welcoming and Safety of Guests. I also find it anachronistic, in 2025, to still find yourself with physical keys instead of electronic cards, and frankly excessive to have to pay 75 € for the lost key. The result was a great disappointment: what remains is not the memory of Cortina’s beauty, but the feeling that customer care is not considered a priority. I hope the management will take this experience as an opportunity to grow and bring the Service to the level such a place deserves. ⸻

Extremely expensive, for one night we spent in a double room 414 euros, very basic room, bathroom without heating, low level breakfast with cheap pastry, cheap juice, ony the water was good enough. TO BE AVOIDED.
