Bike Hotel La Perla

We booked a week half board here through TUI having had the hotel recommended to us. The location is ideal - very close to the bus station and centre of town whilst still being located far enough away down a side road to be quiet. The hotel is fairly basic in terms of small rooms and basic furniture but it’s clean and the staff were really good. The food options both at breakfast and dinner were really good with plenty of choice to suit everyone. The pool is across the road accessed through a private secure tunnel and is large and kept clean and tidy with a bar offering food and drink available all day. We never had an issue getting a sun bed round the pool. In terms of places to see we walked to Bardolino, got the ferry to Sirmione, bus to Verona and bus to Malcesine taking the cable car up to Monte Baldo.

Hotel La Perla - is central & close to all amenities. The hotel itself is spotless, rooms immaculate cleaned daily, staff always on call, ready to assist with anything you require. Food is amazing, plenty of variety to suit everyone, dining room staff polite, friendly, well mannered nothing is s problem. There is a family orientated feel to the hotel. Swimming pool & plenty of loungers available also a poolbar where you can get food & drinks, staff there also very helpful & 1st class

4 of us booked 2 twin rooms , we were put on floor 3 and the other room was on floor 1. The room on floor1 had a much larger bathroom ,our bathroom on 3 was much much smaller. in the shower room you could hardly turn around in it, if you dropped something on the floor you had to open the bi-fold doors to pick it up !!! in fact I would say it was stupidly small !!. Both rooms also had no sort of views except walls and building. The food was quite good but hot food only warm I'm afraid. One night we watched the live singer outside then at 10.45 after he finished went into the inside bar for a last drink and they had closed it with no warning, we asked at reception and they said there is no staff to man it......bit of a joke !!!. The sunbeds were not great but plentiful and the staff on the pool bar were very nice serving very nice food. The pool was very clean and huge and there was a grass area on a lower level if wanted. Do to the problems we had however I don't think I would return.
