Residence Parco del Garda

Stay at Parco del Garda (Check in at Hotel Marco Polo!) We were a bit skeptical by the reviews. But we were warmly received at Hotel Marco Polo, since we really had to look where we had to check in....the address was not correct what we had received from the travel agency. The hotel and apartments (we stayed in apartment Christina) were clean, perfect air conditioning, shutters. Only the beds were very hard. Staff at the complex are all friendly and helpful, also speak English. Breakfast is simple but good. The food at the park at the Pizzaria is very good!! Location is a bit higher than the road to the boulevard, so walking to the boulevard is quite a climb and descent. But Garda is a beautiful village with lots of nice restaurants, nice market and nice shops on the boulevard. All in all had a very nice holiday!!!

Surrounded by greenery, the pool and restaurant are well-kept, and the food is very good. The playground for children is no longer suitable. The houses have seen better days... The kitchen and bathroom are very, very rudimentary and old. No screens on the windows and no air conditioning. It is too expensive for that level of comfort; the bathroom is horrible, the kitchen lacks a lighter, the TV remote is broken, and 400 euros for 3 nights is extremely costly; go somewhere else.

Area is nice, pool and restaurant is fine. The kids playground is not suitable any more. The houses did see better times ... Kitchen and bathroom is very, very rudimentary and old. Although the furniture and the beds. No Mosquito nets at the windows and no ac. It's too expensive for that level of comfort. The people were friendly and the minimarket is not over expensive.
