Resort Poiano

The hotel room we had was very clean and a decent size with a spacious and modern bathroom the towels were changed every day. We had a great view of Lake Garda albeit a couple of miles away however the shuttlebus was a welcome lift into town about 5 mins away.We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful .The barstaff and dining room staff were very good at there jobs and immaculately dressed, big shout out to Bonaventure or Bonny as he was known he was very friendly and a helpful person We found the food to be of a very good standard ,maybe the breakfast could have been a little hotter but overall the food was very good. Great pool outside although very cold to get into ,poolbar was reasonably priced for snacks and drink ,Tennis courts Paddle ball court ,golf range all on sight, overall a great resort that suited us both. I cannot comment on the apartments although they were on a very steep hill, but I would recommend a hotel room with a lake view .

Just enjoyed a week in Garda at this hotel. Booked a superior suite, which was at the back of the hotel , up a very steep hill and lots of steps. The suite was old fashioned, with tiny bathroom, however was very spacious and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable with nice bedding. Great view from the balcony. The food at the hotel, i would say was average. We had booked half board, but ate out 4 of the nights as didn't like the menu on certain nights. The Staff were great, couldn't fault any of them, especially in the dining room. They couldn't do enough for you. Big shout out to Constantino who drove the shuttle bus and golf buggies. Gave us lifts up to our room on the hill which was much appreciated due to the steep walk. The hotel itself is quite relaxed with music each evening after dinner. Everyone friendly and chatting. Shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes which is a big plus. Dropping you off at the bus station in town. This runs up till 845pm. Only downside if you stay in town later , you either need to do the 40 minute walk back or get a taxi . We were charged 20 euros for a five minute journey. Not ideal ! The pool area massive, with added bonus of pool bar, where you can get snacks and drinks and not expensive. However the pool was really cold and the sunbeds have no mattress on them and very uncomfortable. This could be something the hotel could maybe improve on. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and Garda is a beautiful town.

This was our first holiday abroad with kids and I'm so glad we picked this hotel. It was perfect, the location, views, service and facilities. They were incredibly accommodating with the food (my child being a picky eater) and the salad buffet had everything you wanted plus more. The pool was amazing. Soo big! There were activities throughout the day and a mini bus to get to the resort town (though we often walked as the walk was quite nice). The staff were so friendly and really helpful, providing a huge packed lunch for our day trips. I highly recommend staying here
