Overall a good stay. Half board option could do with more choice. You don't have to be fussy in what you like. Worse meals Gala dinner mostly all fish and the BBQ. Meat was cold. Both took too ling to serve everyone. Rooms nice and clean with kettle in room and nice to have BBC tv stations. Nice pool. Very friendly staff. The picnic breakfast when leaving early was very nice.

We really enjoyed our one week holiday on a bed/breakfast basis in a Junior Suite with balcony, views and walk in shower/king bed. The hotel is very well located and in easy walking distance to the town, but station, the lake and the Ferry Station, but slightly above the town so has lovely views of the mountains and countryside and also a limited view of the Lake. We really enjoyed the breakfast, extremely relaxing and eating under cover but outside, and breakfast was good quality and choice. The service by all the staff was excellent, very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Our suite number 201 had the best views, but the balcony did not have enough shade for us, but when we reported this the Reception staff arranged for a sun umbrella to be put on our balcony. Problem solved. The wifi in the room was a bit 'Iffy' at times and could be improved speed wise. The walk in shower was excellent and the sleep quality in the King Bed again very good. We would be happy to return. Many thanks to Olga and Silvia i9n reception and to the Housekeepers, and all the staff who make this such a clean and spotless hotel with gardens and swimming pool to match.

This is a beautiful , small comfortable hotel with amazing staff. We enjoyed a relaxing week here and would love to return. The stunning gardens and pool are a fabulous retreat. Yoga is offered one day a week and a huge thank you to the lovely yoga teacher who gave us a lovely session on the roof terrace. I also benefitted from a great massage at the spa. Breakfast on the terrace is wonderful and special thanks to Marcello and Francesco. This hotel is unique as every guest is made to feel special. A rare quality. Fabulous views from our room. Overall - exceptional! Mae & Alan Samson
