Ai Platani Hotel

Overall, the experience at this property was positive, although it did not fully meet my expectations; I thought it would be better. The Reception staff is very kind, the room clean and quite comfortable. Breakfast should absolutely be improved (croissants apparently inviting but they taste like they are from the day before... otherwise there is not much choice) and the dining room staff could be a bit more welcoming, for example by asking if you would like something made to order... furthermore, I asked for cold milk and was pointed to a tiny pitcher with which I struggled to fill half a cup for two children. The lake is easily reached on foot with a pleasant walk on a tree-lined avenue. The hotel parking lot is very small and cannot be reserved; we found the last available spot, alternatively it was explained to us that there is a parking lot in a facility not far away.

I stayed 4 nights in this hotel and we had a good time. The staff was very helpful and courteous, the location allowed us to visit the villages near the lake, and we also had dinner in the excellent restaurant. Furthermore, the breakfast was very abundant and varied. For my personal taste, the only negative note is the excessive whiteness of the walls in the corridors where the rooms are; I would have put up some paintings or something else to add a little color. In conclusion, highly recommended.
