Astromare

I must strongly warn anyone considering staying at this hotel to look elsewhere. We had a really unpleasant experience there, largely due to how the staff and the manager behaved. The worst part occurred when our car was damaged in the hotel parking lot. The front desk staff informed us that such incidents are common, which raised serious concerns about the hotel's quality. Adding to our frustration, the manager promised that the hotel's insurance would cover the damage, but they never followed through. Despite our repeated efforts to address this issue, we were completely ignored. Experiencing such poor service and being misled by the hotel staff left me very angry and disappointed. It seems that the management doesn't prioritize honesty with their guests, which is unacceptable. If you want to avoid the risk of having your car damaged, I would strongly advise staying away from this hotel. Their lack of honesty and professionalism is evident, and no one should have to endure what we did. __________________________________ Devo assolutamente avvertire chiunque stia considerando di soggiornare in questo hotel di cercare un altro posto. Abbiamo avuto un'esperienza davvero spiacevole lì, in gran parte a causa del comportamento del personale e del manager. La parte peggiore è avvenuta quando la nostra auto è stata danneggiata nel parcheggio dell'hotel. Il personale alla reception ci ha informato che tali incidenti sono comuni, sollevando serie preoccupazioni sulla qualità dell'hotel. Ad aumentare la nostra frustrazione, il manager ha promesso che l'assicurazione dell'hotel avrebbe coperto il danno, ma non hanno mai mantenuto la promessa. Nonostante i nostri ripetuti tentativi di risolvere il problema, siamo stati completamente ignorati. Avere un servizio così scadente e essere ingannati dal personale dell'hotel mi ha lasciato molto arrabbiato e deluso. Sembra che la direzione non dia priorità all'onestà nei confronti dei loro ospiti, il che è inaccettabile. Se volete evitare il rischio di danneggiare la vostra auto, vi consiglio vivamente di evitare questo hotel. La loro mancanza di onestà e professionalità è evidente, e nessuno dovrebbe dover sopportare quello che abbiamo passato noi.

I am writing this negative review because we had to wait 4 hours to leave the Hotel Astromare, as two badly parked cars (in the hotel's private car park) kept our car blocked. Everything, with a relative concern of the hotel managers, despite being asked several times (rather unpleasant behavior). We were able to get our car back, only after the long wait for the spontaneous return of the owner of one of the 2 cars that was keeping us stranded. Furthermore, the structure provides only one umbrella and two sunbeds per room, unlike other structures in Jesolo which also consider the number of occupants of the rooms.

We were originally booked into 'The New Hotel' just around the corner from The Astromare. We were a little early to check into The New Hotel, so the staff told us to come back in an hour and our room would be ready. We were in fact a couple of hours late returning, due to the lovely weather. When we did get there, we were told that there was no room for us and they were sending us to another hotel, The Astromare. We were not very happy about this, as we had no idea where the hotel was or anything about it. They did offer to show us a room in the New Hotel, but the receptionist told us we were better going to The Astromare, as it was a nicer hotel. She was certainly correct about that! The room was so small, dark and badly in need of a refurb! We gladly took up the offer of going to a different Hotel. What a lovely surprise we received when we got to The Astomare. We were given a room on the 5th floor, with lovely views, you could even just see the sea! The room was clean, plenty of hot water and towels and the staff were friendly and helpful. After a good nights sleep, we went down to a magnificent breakfast, plenty of choice for everyone and lots of fresh orange juice. So glad that The New Hotel was full, as I think we got a much better hotel and will be booking it again next time we are in Lido.
