Hotel Las Vegas

First, I would especially like to thank Daniel and his brother (two Hungarians) for their hard work. These two were absolutely outstanding and, in our experience, were above everyone else working in the restaurant/bar area. They were always working hard, attentive and providing excellent service. When they had a day off, you could really feel that they were missing because the service became noticeably slower. A big thank you to both of them – their hard work deserves recognition! Unfortunately, one of our biggest frustrations was the sunbed system at the pool and beach. We are a family of four, all paying guests, but we were only allocated two sunbeds. This means that two members of our family had nowhere to lie down. On a beach holiday, I find this extremely frustrating. A family of four should be able to relax together. Instead of services such as having staff bring luggage from the car into the hotel, I would much rather see the hotel invest in enough sunbeds so that every paying guest has somewhere to relax. The swimming pool also needs clearer and better-enforced safety rules. These rules should be clearly displayed and also provided in the rooms. The pool is quite small, yet it was regularly full of large inflatables, children throwing balls across the pool and children jumping into the shallow water from different sides. At times it was almost impossible to simply enjoy the pool. More importantly, some of this behaviour is dangerous. Clear rules regarding inflatables, ball games and jumping into the pool would make it safer and more enjoyable for everybody and could help prevent an accident. Another unpleasant issue was the smoking on the beach. Many people were smoking underneath their umbrellas and some were putting cigarette ends directly into the sand. On a family beach, this is really disappointing, particularly when designated smoking areas could be used instead. Finally, something that was particularly unpleasant was seeing dogs urinating and defecating on the beach early in the morning, in exactly the same sand where children would be playing shortly afterwards. This really needs to be addressed. There are definitely good things about the hotel, and Daniel and his brother were a real credit to the team. However, with a better sunbed system, clearer pool safety rules, and better control of smoking and dogs on the beach, the experience for families could be significantly improved.

Really nice place, front of the beach. Nice swimming pool. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Nice dinner. Nice bar.

Very nice hotel, excellent location, cleanliness as well. Beautiful pool, restaurant with simple but very good dishes. The rooms are a bit dated but still quite spacious. The staff is truly friendly and helpful; the guys at the bar/restaurant, although very young, were truly polite and professional; a rarity. Congratulations! We will definitely be back.
