Hotel Manzoni

It can't even be called a hotel... dilapidated shack with moldy window frames, unbreathable smell, insects everywhere, linen/face towels and underwear stained with blood, spiders and cockroaches everywhere. Furthermore, the manager is disrespectful and uncaring, a braggart. Don't go there, terrible environment, I strongly advise against it, drinks dispenser full of mould, holes in the walls for insect friends who come in and out

We "stayed" so to speak at this hotel for a week and couldn't wait to leave. Disorganized staff, small and above all very dirty room: the amount of dust was inhumane, not to mention the sheets... I had to sleep for an entire week using one of my t-shirts as a pillowcase because I didn't have the courage to put my head down... the bathroom then, forget it! Never seen such filth! In the morning the cleaning staff didn't even knock, they entered the room directly, zero respect for privacy! The only decent thing was breakfast, but only for the vast choice it offered. Never again!!

The words would not be enough to describe what I experienced in this miserable building that calls itself "hotel". Free and it would be too much to live in it. It simply sucks the tourists' money without offering anything in return. A small room in which we barely had space to move, between the bed and the wall were about 50 cm. The 39" TV was hanging near the ceiling and the receiver didn't function, had no signal, the old air conditioning spited out some unbearable odors. The bathroom... oh, jeah, about the bathroom is a lot to tell! But better just look at the pictures! That bathroom was cleaned up last time during the Mussolini's time, when did not yet know about the existence of the washing brush and toilet paper, that's why we got only scraps left probably from Astromare. The "shower" consisted of a shower faucet planted in front of the toilet, half of meter from the wc sink. Basically we could take a shower standing on the toilet. There was no glass door or curtain to keep the water in the perimeter of the bathroom, so the water flowed into the bedroom. And all this "luxury" for 102 euro/night, respective 140 euro/night on Saturday!
