Hotel Castello Lake Front

My favorite place in Europe As with our stay in 2024, we love this property. Yes, we love Malcesine, but it would not be the same staying somewhere else. From the easy parking, welcoming reception with staff that speaks multiple languages, room design, view from the Living Suites balcony, comfortable bed, spotless housekeeping and even the smell of the towels, this property makes Malcesine such a wonderful experience. Breakfast is extensive and the food is healthy and flavorful. Matteo, the owner, and his family/staff work hard to make this such a wonderful experience.

Hotel Castello Lake Front fully deserves all the accolades that it receives. The fact that we have returned to visit each year for nine years now, proves how highly we think of this hotel. To us, it is perfect in every way and we relax as soon as we arrive. First of all it has a wonderful position right on the Lake front,at the foot of the castle, with magnificent views of Limone sul Garda and surrounding mountains and yet it is only a few minutes walk to the beautiful, quaint, town and harbour of Malcesine with its many shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is family owned and nothing is too much trouble for them to ensure that your stay is perfect. We love the friendliness and efficiency of all the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and all the hotel and the fantastic, delicious food at breakfast and in the amazing hotel restaurant, Al Bacio. We hope to return next year for our tenth visit and cannot wait. Alf and Jean Markham
