Holiday Inn Venice Mestre

A terrible hotel; if you come in a group, you have to pay 10 euros per person per day to use the pool. The dining room, if you come on an organized trip, has a limited group dining area with little variety; it is not worthy of 4 stars, not even a piece of fruit. If you request the complaint form, they will not give it to you, violating your rights, and the guides do nothing. The tour operator does nothing either.

They offer a pool on their website and then charge for it, which is a lack of transparency and can be considered a scam; the receptionist Eric was rude and they do not provide anything in writing, they refuse.

We stayed for just one night to visit Venice. As soon as we arrived, the staff, very kind and helpful, despite the room not being ready yet because we arrived too early, allowed us to store our luggage so we wouldn't have to carry it around. A shuttle provided by the hotel took us to the Mestre station, and shortly after, we reached Venice. The location of the hotel is very convenient and strategic. The rooms are equipped with every comfort, and the buffet breakfast has a wide selection for all tastes. The quality of sleep is excellent. The hotel also has an outdoor pool and a well-equipped gym in the basement. Overall, an excellent experience. If we decide to return to Venice, we will not hesitate to choose this hotel again.
