Hotel Vettore Dal 1947

We was just stopping off from a walk for a quick smoke and a hot drink. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. The pastries were amazing and the cappuccino was lovely. Cheap considering its location on the canal front. If you're passing through the area, stop in and grab a bite to eat. Very relaxed atmosphere, it was thoroughly enjoyed.

This hotel is a family run business. They are warm and friendly and spoke basic English. It is located about 25 min by bus outside of Venice and Mestre and is located in a quaint little town. Staying here would depend on your expectations. The building is old and there by does not have any modern comforts. Small bathrooms that are old and although clean don't look to closely. Rooms very basic. Not all rooms have fly screens so mosquitoes can be an issue. No hairdryer or fridge in room but clean bed and towels. Bar downstairs for coffee/drinks and somethings to eat. Easy bus ride to Venice 53E return trip for 5.60 euro and right outside the hotel. Runs every 30 min from 4 am until 11 pm. Easy to get around if you want to save some money by staying outside of Venice. Lovely experience almost like staying with a distant relative where you just accept that things are not always perfect or modern but you don't mind to much as it adds to the experience.

I booked 4 nights in this hotel. (Very cheap).Excellent staff. They are very nice friendly and helpful. They did everything for us. Im travelling for 10 years but this was the best service I ever got.I couldnt wish any better. Food was lovely.The room its ok like how it appears on the website (u dont get surprise in the bed way) the bed is very comfortable. I would suggest this hotel for everyone who wants to visit Venice or Verona (an hour away) Venice 20 min away by bus and it comes every half an hour.
