Terme Petrarca

We come every year Always a pleasant surprise

I was very satisfied with the vacation at the Hotel Petrarca in Montegrotto (PD), which I already knew for work, as a venue for national conferences and training events, for which it is very well equipped with the availability of ad hoc rooms. I chose this location because it is very well equipped for spa treatments and the numerous swimming pools available to guests, as well as a health path where you can experience: emotional showers, Turkish bath, and sauna. The prices are not laughable, but the quality is very good: there is a lot of attention to the customer/patient of the spa, the staff is very attentive to needs and, while treating in a very professional manner, personalizes the attention towards the customer, demonstrating care and attention. In this regard, I am talking about the people in charge of cleaning, the dining room tables every day, as well as the staff in charge of spa treatments, very attentive to the customer's time and needs, even though they are not directly entitled to the economic gain, this element is not indifferent, I experienced passion for their work, investment in the customer, and much more. What can I say? I will definitely return, they were regenerating days. I thank everyone for the exquisite courtesy, presence, and attention. It felt like I was in the clouds, far from worries and human affairs. Excellent place to regenerate and recharge your batteries.

Following my recent visit to the facility, I wish to share my personal experience, which unfortunately turned out to be unsatisfactory in several respects: Visual state of the surfaces and the pool: During my stay, I encountered several elements related to the care of the facilities that left me disappointed (and which I took the liberty of photographing): On the bottom of the pool, large brown spots and halos can be seen near the inlet nozzles. The pool edge at the water level has extensive dark/brownish encrustation. The grout between the tiles on the bottom and along the access steps appears blackened and has visible deposits. The stone in the shallow water area is dull and covered with a yellowish film. The underside of the lounge chairs positioned directly in the water shows evident accumulation of material and greenish films. Packed lunch policy: I was informed of the prohibition against consuming one's own food inside the facility. I consider this organizational rule excessively rigid and unwelcome, especially for those with specific dietary needs, for families with children, or simply for those who wish to manage their day independently. Based on my experience and the cost incurred, I believe that management should invest more in cleaning the surfaces in contact with the water and show greater flexibility toward customers.
