Fantastic location with stunning views of the Grand Canal 8.0 © Loved the location. It was perfect. The view from our room was stunning. The check in process at the other hotel was smooth and the lady was helpful with advice on how to get to the hotel location. |loved that a short walk up an alleyway had us right in the heart of everything Communication was great with clear instructions on checking in at a different hotel. We also received a lovely Easter tray on Easter Sunday which I thought was a lovely touch. Bed was clean and comfortable. © I didn't like the paper cups supplied for coffee and tea. I don't think I have ever stayed in a place with paper cups. Our room was very hot when we arrived (lateApril). The air conditioning was not on. When I contacted the property I was told the city hasn't turned air con on until next month. While I understand this is not the fault of the property, I feel it should be noted in the facilities description when AC is not available. There was also a smell coming from the bathroom drains but I can understand with properties so old that this may be something out of the hotels control. We left the toilet seat closed as well as the bathroom door.

Hotel located in a great location, a stone's throw from Rialto and Piazza San Marco. Room equipped with all amenities, daily cleaning and fantastic grand canal view. Only flaw non-soundproof rooms Excellent opportunity to check in independently and consider luggage storage

A mess this hotel. With 31 degrees a night, the air conditioning broke and they didn't change my room. In addition to not being served anymore, the solution was: go find another hotel. I'm here, wasted one of two nights and no response. Plus all the check in is somewhere else, but hey, it was the least of it. I DON'T RECOMMEND IT.
