Al Ponte Dei Sospiri

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel in Venice! Everything was truly great, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate every request we had. The rooms are large, spacious, and very comfortable, and the hotel is conveniently located close to the city center. The breakfast was delicious, varied, and very satisfying. A special mention to Rafael at the reception, who was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. 😍 He really made our experience even better! We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this hotel! ❤️

The location is perfect, right on a canal and just a five minute stroll from Piazza San Marco. Our room was amazing. It had a beautiful chandelier and a little balcony looking down at a canal and at the “Bridge of Sighs” and another pretty bridge. My only disappointment was that the desk staff seemed intent on sending you to their friends’ restaurant, rather than asking what you had in mind. This ended up in our being sent to a restaurant that was OK (but not great, and that had no view or even outside seating) for lunch upon our arrival. It was sooo disappointing. After a long trip, I so wanted to sit outside and look at a canal, bridge or the Piazza San Marco (but was stuck eating inside in a dark restaurant on a beautiful sunny day because of a terrible suggestion from the guy at the desk). I think the best person on the staff was definitely Rafael, who cheerfully brought breakfast to our room each morning. He was charming and made the start of each day wonderful
