American Dinesen Hotel

Beautiful hotel (love the lobby!) and easily accessed. Within walking distance of the sites yet still quiet. Rooms, including bedding/towels, are spotless and well maintained. The friendly hotel staff recommended had perfect recs for dinner (Strazzario!), gelato (Doge!) and provided safety tips. The stay felt luxurious. Honestly, I almost didn't book this hotel bc I didn't love the decor in the photos, but it's actually traditional venetian style done in a beautiful way. And it's impeccably maintained--the spaces did not feel outdated or shabby on any level. Also, we loved the easy access to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection (don't miss it if you love modern art).

We had a terrific stay at the Hotel Dinesen. Our room was great, staff was friendly and the location was perfect. We look forward to visiting again soon.
