Appartamento Rialto

The only 2 things that were good with this property were the location, which was right in the center of Venice, with plenty of options and sightseeing next to it, and Laura, the host who was waiting us upon arrival to give us the keys and show us the apartment and she was available when we reached her to increase the heat, because the humidity and cold was higher than expected for the time of year we've been there. The apartment was not clean, there were a lot of spots full of dust and the Kitchen pottery (dishes glasses etc.) had dust and we had to clean them first before use. The bed was moving and was not stable. The bathroom was small. The towels had a weird smell. The water pressure was not high, but this is something that might be happening in all of Venice apartments. We had to check out very early in the morning (10:00am) as per host's request so be prepared to pay some extra money for luggage deposit services if your flight is leaving later in the day and you want to enjoy your last hours in Venice. We stayed for 4 nights and the sheets and towels were not changed at all and we had no cleaning service during these days. Also keep in mind that there is not any shampoo and shower gel in the room. So bring yours or make sure to buy upon your arrival.

I booked the apartment with my girlfriend for 3 nights and it was perfect. It’s really affordable with a classic style and it’s in the center of Venice. In addition, Laura, the owner is very kind and gave us some advices to visit the city. I recommend to book this apartment if you want to spend a wonderful time in Venice
