Atlanta Augustus

We stayed a couple of nights in mid-June at that hotel. The truth is that everything was very calm. The hotel has its own charm, and the best part is the little terraces in the morning for breakfast.

For the second year in a row we stay at this hotel at the Lido of Venice. Structure in a central location convenient to all services that offers private parking for a fee. The room we are assigned is very spacious, comfortable, super comfortable bed with excellent quality linens. We travel with a size XL dog so we choose the room with the large terrace very convenient for returning from the sea. Good breakfast, maybe I would add some product (more choice of fresh fruit)... but still there is always a lot of availability from all the staff to fulfill every request. What can I say... now we feel at home!

If you are looking for 5 star modern luxury then this isn't the hotel for you, but if you are looking to step into a beautiful, old fashioned, welcoming, Italian Villa style hotel then this is perfect. It was for us. Perfectly located, a 5 minute walk from the bus stop (and maybe 10 from the beach), in a peaceful residential area, a stones throw from the main street and overlooking a small canal. The tranquility was the first thing that hit us, especially after a day in the madness of Venice. Our private balcony wrapped around the bedroom and offered beautiful views. The high ceilings and French doors made it cool. The bedroom was basic but spotless and cleaned beautifully each day. Breakfast was included - again, basic (buffet style), but included fresh breads, eggs, fruit, yoghurts (and more) lovely coffee. Would HIGHLY recommend.
