We had the pleasure of staying at Ca della Scimmia for three nights in Venice, and it was pure luxury. I've been to Venice before, but I won't be staying anywhere else from now on. We booked the two-bedroom Panoramic Comfort apartment, which comes with a full kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, and every home comfort you could want. The building itself is several hundred years old and has been beautifully renovated — the apartment is spotless, comfortable, and finished to a genuinely high standard. What really set it apart was the owner. She's extremely gracious and thought of everything: a stocked mini fridge with still and sparkling water, the ingredients for a proper Venetian Spritz (she even sent us a video showing how to make it), plus Italian cookies, coffee, and tea. On our last morning, she brought us a box of fresh croissants and pastries before we left. It's a small touch, but it's what made the stay feel truly special. Highly recommend.

Our travel agent (Nigel - The Little Big Travel Company) found this gem for us last minute and what a find! 2 adults and four kids with room to spare in the superior apartment. Location is incredible, step off at Rialto Mercado and you are there, with Andrea ensuring you have all the information to get there with ease and check in at your convenience. From the bustling streets you enter a calm space, with a lift for all your luggage. Immaculate and well supplied rooms with everything you might need to stay in and recommendations for places to go out! Andrea was incredible, her advice meant we felt we saw a real-life side to Venice, and ate with Venetians! This place great value for money - the best city-apartment I have stayed at and can't wait to come back.

Ca’ della Scimmia is simply outstanding. The welcome was warm and genuinely heartfelt, we felt at home right away. On arrival we were each offered a spritz, and because it was New Year’s, we were additionally spoiled with a full bottle of prosecco and three delicious little cakes. The room was exceptionally spacious for Venice, impeccably clean, and perfectly equipped for a longer stay (we booked five nights). During our stay, the room was even cleaned once more, which says a lot about the level of care and attention. Andrea and her husband are true superhosts who go above and beyond to pamper their guests, this kind of hospitality is rare these days. We already can’t wait to stay here again. Highly recommended.
