Absolutely disgusting room, stains on the walls and ceiling. Wallpaper was damage in multiple spots. Room was musty and humid when we arrived with an unpleasant smell. The bathroom needs attention - and the toilet is only 12 inches from the sink. You literally have to step in sideways to get to get to the shower. Questionable stains on the carpet. Non working amenities - We purchased some cheese and meat at the market and brought back to room to put in the refrigerator - it does not work. I went to the front desk to request assistance or if they could put the vacuum sealed items in their fridge - and was told no for safety reasons which is understandable, and that they could possibly have someone look at it the next day but had no sense of urgency. I really wanted to pack up my belongings and leave but it was too late in the evening. The next morning I went and spoke with Max who seemed pleasant at first and said they could move our room but it would be some time before it was clean. I said ok and stated I wanted to see the cleanliness before taking the time to move and he said it would be ready in about 3 hours or so. When I arrived back I waited in line with 15-20 other people. When I got to Max at the counter he just started at me and said extremely loud and aggressively “I was waiting for you to come for 3 hours now move aside you have to wait until I’m ready”. I calmly stated if our room was clean and mild and mildew free with working amenities that we would not even be having this conversation. His reply was “I just love customers like you” in a lobby full of guests - to which I responded “I hope you enjoyed your little outburst”. I understand individuals can have a bad day - but this was really unacceptable. *Update - Max has been contacted and refuses to escalate the concerns and will not give our booking agent information to discuss with management. If me wanting a clean room is a terrible thing, I apologize. The website says it went through a complete renovation…this must have been 10-15 years ago. Do not waste your money on this spot, it will be disappointing.

the hotel on the surface may seem great and in some rooms there are also beautiful and fascinating frescoes but as soon as you enter, we smelled a bad smell. The room may seem great, in fact there is also. present a heat that makes people feel good, but as soon as you enter the bathroom, everything changes: the bathroom with the room is not connected at all and the shower is even barely, at least there is the bathtub that makes you rest and relax. wardrobes, newly opened bedside tables make a noise that can annoy many people. Breakfast is also available in this hotel, but the choice and quality of the products make this service practically null. At the end of everything I do not recommend this accommodation as a travel stop.

Unpretentious hotel, good value for money price.room a little small but with a terrace and comfortable mattress. Breakfast a little poor you could enrich it a little. Special thanks to Paolo at the reception for his attention and availability.
