Locanda ai Bareteri

The perfect base in Venice. I've stayed at Locanda ai Bareteri for twenty years and keep coming back. This charming hotel has beautiful traditional decor, simple and charming. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Though it's incredibly central, the location on a smaller street means it's tucked away from the throngs - with pretty window boxes and a charming breakfast room. And the welcome couldn't be warmer - I've been so well looked after here, year after year. I can't wait for my next visit.

An accommodation with a lot of charm, cozy and in a fantastic location to enjoy Venice. We want to make a very special mention to Luca and Desi, some charming, attentive and very kind hosts, who made our stay even more special. In addition, it coincided with our daughter's birthday and they had the lovely gesture of leaving her some typical Venetian cookies as a surprise. It was a simple gesture, but full of affection, that made us very happy and that, without a doubt, we will remember with great fondness. ❤️ Thank you, Luca and Desi, for your hospitality and for taking such good care of the small details. We received a warm welcome in a small residence in the center (a stone's throw from St. Mark's Square!) with spacious, clean, and carefully furnished rooms. I would not hesitate to return and recommend it.
