Locanda ai Santi Apostoli

A cozy place, on arrival it was a bit strange, but in the end quite good

Let's start with the only positive thing, the location, very convenient and central. It's not a hotel, no joke it's a B&B, reception open from 8am to 8pm. We had a standard room, roof view, right size, 70s bathroom to redo, there was not even the toilet paper holder. Cleanliness to improve, the second day bed redone badly, with a pajamas under the pillow and the other outside, clean bathroom so to speak, the towels we found them as we had left them, and was not put back toilet paper. Absurd breakfast, you have to order the day before. If I go to the hotel, I decide what to take of Breakfast when I get up and go to do it, usually buffet, since it is still an extra, something inconceivable, there are only 3-4 tables so if you arrive late you have to wait, calculating that we paid 220 euros per night the double room. I wouldn't go back.

The Locanda is conveniently located halfway between the station and San Marco, near the Rialto Bridge, with a beautiful view of the Grand Canal. My wife and I stayed in a room facing the inner courtyard, quiet and cozy. Only note on the bathroom that needs maintenance. Excellent breakfast that you have to book the night before. Excellent reception and helpfulness of the managers. Quiet and informal environment. Price a bit high but in line with the location and the period chosen. Overall I highly recommend.
