Marconi Hotel Venice (Centre)

I had the most lovely stay in this beautiful traditional Venetian style hotel. Fantastic location, gorgeous decor, very clean rooms with a comfortable bed and friendly and helpful staff, plus a great breakfast. It was exactly what I was looking for as a solo traveller and will happily return on my next trip to Venice.

Hotel Marconi has a spectacular location in front of the Rialto Canal and the Rialto Bridge. Manicured rooms with a local artisan touch. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The modest, sloppy lobby. Overall, it was a good experience.

Paid over £600 for our room for two nights as we wanted a balcony and a view. The room was TINY so was the bathroom. No wardrobe. No drawers. No storage at all. The radiator in the bathroom was not working on our first day. We reported it three times and it never got fixed so we had to shower in an icy cold bathroom. Not good
