The hotel, on the whole, is rather nice and benefits from a very good location. The setting is pleasant and the stay could have been perfectly fine. That said, for an establishment of this caliber, a 5-star hotel, we clearly expected a higher level of service. There is certainly better in this category. Unfortunately, our experience regarding the transfer service strongly spoiled the general impression. We had requested two transfers for the Fusina cruise terminal: a round trip. For the trip there, we were 7 people and the hotel offered us a journey combining a minibus then a water taxi, for €460. The next day, for the return, we were only 3 additional people, and the hotel asked us for €1,100. A totally disproportionate price difference. Even more surprising, we were told that it was impossible to make the journey entirely by boat. We therefore contacted a water taxi company directly, which confirmed to us that it was perfectly feasible, with two water taxis for about €160 in total. We therefore had the very unpleasant feeling of being taken for tourists who could be charged an exorbitant price. For a 5-star hotel, this type of practice and especially this lack of transparency are particularly disappointing. In summary: good location, nice hotel, but nothing exceptional for a 5-star, and an experience regarding the transfers that clearly spoiled our stay. We highly recommend comparing rates with independent water taxi companies before accepting the service offered by the hotel.

We had the most wonderful two-day stay – it truly felt like a dream. This is not just a hotel, but a place with soul and character. The beautiful antiques create an elegant and authentic Venetian atmosphere, making every room unique. What made our stay truly exceptional was the incredibly warm and personal hospitality. The staff were outstanding: professional, attentive, genuinely caring, and always one step ahead. They made us feel more like welcomed guests than customers. Everything was simply perfect. We will always remember these two unforgettable days and cannot wait to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a truly special experience in Venice.

It was a truly wonderful experience. Every smallest detail was perfected. Having worked in the luxury conference industry for 35 years, I feel qualified to say that this was simply outstanding. From the exceptional staff to the facilities and the rooms, everything exceeded expectations.
