Basic, spartan but cozy and very clean, especially bedroom and bathrooms. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Functional common spaces. Panoramic terrace, oasis of relaxation. "Ancient" manual elevator: thrilling, but performs its function perfectly! Convenient location, very close to the station. Suitable for those who prefer essence rather than form.

Hostel in an excellent position to visit the main attractions of Venice! 10 minutes from the station, next to the church of Santa Maria dei Frari. Welcoming atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff! Shared bathrooms always spotless, I highly recommend it!

We stayed here for two nights in Venice and were so pleased with the hostel. Considering we were expecting to be sharing with other guests, we were delighted by a room for just the two of us. The balcony has a wonderful view over San Polo, and the hostel was perfect to get around Venice. The staff were so kind and lovely, spoke fluent English and were full of helpful directions and tips for places to visit. The only downside I would say is the lack of security for luggage pre-check in. We had to leave our bags after arriving at Venice at 5am, and waited till 7 to leave the bags. The room doesn’t have any locks so anybody could really walk in- I put my AirTag in our bags just incase but this wouldn’t be a problem if you check in straight away. I’ll definitely be returning, for the wonderful prices, staff, views and location. Thank you so much!
