Pesaro Palace

I would not recommend this property. We stay at this property in July 2026. While I appreciate that the property is located in a historic building in Venice and expect certain traditional characteristics, basic standards of hospitality, hygiene, and service must still be maintained. Regrettably, my experience fell far below acceptable expectations due to several significant issues during my stay: Inadequate Room Climate Control: My room lacked functional air conditioning and was equipped only with a basic fan, making the stay uncomfortable despite expecting standard amenities. Unsanitary Dining Conditions: During breakfast, there were bugs present at the dining table, which raises serious concerns regarding food hygiene and basic cleanliness. Unprofessional Staff Behavior: Members of your staff were rude and spoke disparagingly about me in Italian, operating under the incorrect assumption that I did not understand the language. This level of disrespect from customer-facing staff is entirely unacceptable. Refusal of Basic Guest Assistance: When I asked the front desk for navigation assistance and directions around Venice, the staff was dismissive and unwilling to help. Facility Outages: The elevator was completely out of service for an entire day without adequate assistance or clear updates provided to guests. While structural quirks and age are understandable in historic Venetian accommodations, poor hygiene, malfunctioning amenities, and blatant disrespect from staff are matters of service culture and management. This was not an acceptable standard of hosting.

Great location, vaporetto stop right outside, 2 stops from rialto bridge , nice authentic hotel friendly and clean, traditional in design but not old. Comfy beds, spacious bathroom, it was warm but being may we didn't need AC we just left the full length windows open, lovely to wake up to the courtyard outside and the kitchen working away.. Would stay here again Breakfast wasn't great, coffee from a machine i didn't drink, what cooked buffet food they had was rubber . Fruit and pastries ok but best to go local coffee spot if your a coffee drinker. Also the rooms had a functional fridge but no complimentary water, any other time we've been to Italy there's been water and wine in the room, I think water would be greatly appreciated. Highly recommend

I really liked the pesaro palace, it has really unique venetian themed decor & it's un-apologetically Italian in it's approach. It's right on the grand canal, next to a gondola station so access is really good, there are some local bars and restaurants nearby and it's easy to get to (for venice) There is no Bar or Restaurant - which is disappointing - however it does offer a very basic continental style breakfast
