Very nice room. The bike rental service is invaluable. Availability for our special request: the innkeeper who helped us beyond expectations was very kind. It overlooks a delightful little square which becomes magical in the evening and you can sleep very peacefully in the silence in front of a chandelier which facilitates dreams. The receptionist was also very good.

In the absence of the sixth star we are satisfied with the 5. The structure is a historic Venetian residence, it exudes history in every corner - starting from the dining room where you have breakfast followed by the eternal gazes imprinted on the numerous canvases that dot the walls. The rooms have very comfortable beds (high and well-structured mattresses that guarantee a great quality of rest) and the staff is always welcoming and ready to solve any problem that may arise, even (in my case) going MUCH beyond what the role would require. I usually stay at the Lido, this year almost by chance I booked for a few days on New Year's Eve in Malamocco; very central choice. 2 steps and you are at the bus stop which in 5 minutes takes you to the Lido di Venezia S.M.E. vaporetto. Another handful of minutes and you are where you feel like going in the Serenissima but when you want a bit of tranquility, after you have anesthetized yourself with humanity in the midst of the noise of San Marco you can enjoy the Beauty and peace without giving up comfort. We had already been there in the spring and wanted to return with some friends. The helpfulness and hospitality of the owners and staff are wonderful: as there was a technical problem with the heating in our room, they immediately moved us to the suite. The environment is wonderful and evocative, the service is punctual and the breakfast is very rich, with an extremely honest quality/price ratio. We will definitely be back soon.
