The main problem before we arrived was that we could not contact the hotel as it was on the site, once we realized that the apartments belonged to the central hotel and that the phone number was different, we talked to them and everything worked out.
We arrived from the airport with a private taxi straight through the channel for a distance of 30 meters, waiting for us lory charming girl who explained everything to us and helped us with everything that was needed.
The apartment has 3 rooms and a kitchen equipped with all the tools, there is a washing machine, can live in the apartment for at least 5 people, cleaned every day really great
To sum up a very good experience in this apartment, in a very central and convenient place to get anywhere.
We made the booking through hotwire, website and the price was very cheap
The name of the central hotel is Ca' dell Arte and the phone number is: +39 0410988073
Go and enjoy Venice

We had a hard time finding the place after arriving from the airport by a boat, walking with big suitcases through too many up and down stairs, two feet wide streets full of tourists, etc. At first couldn't understand why there were no taxis; but it's Venice, lol! The hotel was on a very narrow street and there were over 40 steep steps to go up and carry our luggage to the second floor apartment. We were prepared to get disappointed until we got inside. We NEVER met any of the hotel staff or have seen a reception. The keys were inside the door, and our names were printed on the door plaque. Once inside, it was amazing!! It was a whole apartment with a living room, two very specious and beautiful bedrooms, one being in the attic. The 4 pcs bathroom was large and clean. A small kitchen with a cooking range, small fridge, microwave, toaster oven and cupboards full of dishes and cutlery. There was even a tiny washing washing builtin in one of the cupboards. We found cooking oil, some spices and we were happy to sometimes prepare our own meals. The furniture was all matching and very beautiful. There were large windows, air conditioner and a very secure bold lock. Would most definitely stay there again.
The only downfall of being in Venice that we will never forget is the fact that we were rubbed. In spite of being vigilant, my mom was rubbed of all of her money, and the rubbers even managed to remove a bracelet from her arm without her feeling a thing. BE EXTRA VIGILANT AND CAREFUL when in ITALY! It happens a lot!!

Like all small Venetian "hotels",it can be tricky to find
No on site reception and key pad to enter was frustrating until resolved
Room was up a flight of 30 steps, which was a great intro to the sort of places we were to visit later
Rooms were clean and well appointed
Beds were comfortable. TVs in all rooms
Hotel is fabulously located close to Rialto and San Marco Square
Heaps of good restaurants and bars nearby
Great comparative value but not for unfit
