Venice-BB-Venezia

Having read all the 5* reviews i was sure I had picked the right place, many of them spoke of the wonderful experience of breakfast and chatting to the host etc. I would just like to clarify that this B&B no longer does breakfast, there is a kitchen at the property however guests are not allowed to use it. I can now see on my booking it doesn't say breakfast included however as its called a B&B, I booked it on a bed and breakfast website sight and so many reviews made note of the great breakfast experience so i think it was a shame that this has now stopped. My partner found the dark entrance down a small alley a little unnerving when we came back late at night. Good location and there is a bridge 40 meters from the b&b that you can tease family and friends from as there is a live webcam looking directly at the bridge, always nice to wave at family who are working while your on holiday lol. Our room had no windows in other than a bit of glass very high up near the roof so no view pr opportunityto people watch 🤷‍♂️. The place is simple and fine but did not live up to expectations.

We stayed with Alessandro 8 years ago and decided to return with our two young children. We love this part of Venice and Alessandro was as welcoming and helpful as ever. Because of Corona we had to book the whole apartment but the price was reasonable and we were very comfortable. There are plenty of supermarkets and bakeries nearby to buy any supplies, and lots of good bars and restaurants. Alessandro lives nearby and is always on hand to help out with any requests. He really is the perfect host. We hope that we can return again very soon. Thank you Alessandro!

Alessandro took care of me like a brother! Every morning there was a feast of a breakfast waiting for me. He gave me advice on things to do and neighborhoods to go to that made me feel like I was a local Venetian. His place has such charm that I felt like I really had my own apartment - my own home - in Venice. And I loved the convenience of the location and the charm of the neighborhood. I was so happy that I had chosen Alessandro's place to stay.
