Hotel Arena

Located in an excellent central position, it has little of a real hotel but essentially just the name! Helpful and kind staff, but the hotel service is something else entirely!! Parking must be reserved at the time of booking; it is located a bit off-center but is excellent. Breakfast is outside, separate, at a pastry shop not far away. Rooms are okay even if they lack some options essential elsewhere, such as double pillows or curtains, shelves and... other things... Therefore, let's say it is essential in the services offered. The staff makes up for the basic shortcomings of the hotel. We will return, maybe... but maybe not... I don't know, it depends. Verona is a beautiful city, anyway!!

Contrary to what I had read this basic hotel offers what you need to stay, rest and visit Verona on foot (it is next to Castelvecchio). I had a spacious room just renovated with WiFi and ok facilities. Elevator. Courteous receptionist. Given the low prices it is obvious that there is no bar and that it has only one star (maybe it deserves two). For breakfast excellent pastry (historical local) in front of TWO minutes. The parking (box) they offer is with independent access and is located a few minutes ... allows you to leave your car and forget it.
