Hotel Merano

We found a welcome that was outside of any current standard. Cleanliness, location, and cuisine are important, and the reviews that precede this place already say it all. The thing that impressed us the most, however, is everyone's kindness in making you feel at ease. A sincere thank you for everything. I highly recommend this hotel.

When I told my friends that I would spend the weekend in Brenzone on Lake Garda, they responded laughing: "What are you talking about?" "You mean Sirmione!" But no, my dear friends, because "U Lagu" is very large and beautiful in every area, and you do not have to go to the most famous/expensive part to have fun or relax with family/friends/others. In fact, at Hotel Merano, we found perfect service, with beautiful moments (I think that throughout dinner the pianist played live music until late at night, without interruptions) and treats worthy of the best hospitality establishments. The rooms are fantastic; waking up to the view of the lake is priceless and is a perfect way to escape the usual (hot) smog of big cities, with their heat and traffic. You can walk along the lakeside, but also bike, and in a short time you can reach Malcesine, from where you can take the ferry to Limone (and beyond). Fantastic cleanliness, one of the best showers I have experienced during my little trips with friends and family, courtesy, friendliness, and much more always at the service of the customer. Private and free parking in front of the establishment, breakfast included (at least in my case), elevator for those with mobility issues or just very heavy luggage, lakeside porch, billiard room, and more. In short, I can say that I had a wonderful time and that I will definitely return to "U Lagu" and specifically to Hotel Merano for another weekend of relaxation!

This lovely hotel on the edge of Lake Garda is a gem! The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfy; the views are to die for and the food was tasty and plentiful. A great base from which to explore, hire a bike 🏍 or just sit by the Lake or swim. (The Lake is crystal clear). Whilst the clientele was predominantly german, it didn't feel awkward as it can do sometimes and our thanks go to Deborah and Sophia for making us feel so welcome and making our stay so great.
