We have just returned from a city break to Verona where we sated at La Camaldola B & B. It is situated in Avesa - and when giving directions to taxi drivers it is important to state this - a small village just north of Verona. Avesa is on a regular bus route and the stop is just down the road from the accommodation. The rooms are lovely, clean and the facilities very good. The host is very welcoming and provides a buffet breakfast choice each day. They also arranged a taxi for our journey back to the airport. The generous breakfast provided is bread, meat and cheese, loads of fruit and cereal and croissants and cakes etc. There is no real cooking facilities (other than a microwave) but a coffee making machine is provided. A toaster would be a very good additional touch.A fridge is provided Our room was completely self contained, very comfortable and warm but our friends room on the first floor was cold and whist it had its own bathroom this was through another door on the corridor which could be closed off by a curtain. Our room had its own fridge and we were provided with separate breakfasts each day whilst our friends shared a breakfast room with the other first floor rooms. The accommodation is set in lovely grounds and table and chairs allowed us to enjoy a coffee or drink in the garden. This is a really nice place to stay if B & B is your thing.

This B&B is the perfect place to stay to visit Verona. The owners are very welcoming, the room is very nice and large, the breakfast is original with choice. Do not hesitate !! It is also very easy to park the car inside.
