Montresor Hotel Palace

Very decent establishment but aging in its category. Comfortable room, impeccable bathrooms, adjustable air conditioning Friendly welcome but not in French! gourmet and hearty breakfast. no restaurant, advice for nearby establishments but be careful about the price-quality ratio. Geographical location to be found with a good GPS because it is far from the highway exit.

Very nice hotel and perfect if you arrive by car! Amazing staff, very polite and helpful. Great value for money.

We stayed in May 2026 for four nights. The hotel was quiet, we had a top floor room. The room was comfortable enough for our short stay the beds were comfortable, the room and hotel itself overall very clean and regular supply of toiletries during our stay. Although the hotel mentions a restaurant on its website on enquiring to reserve a table upon our arrival we were told the restaurant is only open to groups and business events. Similarly, the bar is advertised as open all day but in fact closed at 8pm each night of our stay. Also, we drank at the bar only once at 7pm on the day we arrived and sat outside in the seating area. I got the impression they were doing us a favour as the staff began to clear away the table lights and chairs etc and brought us the bill before we had a chance to order another drink! The breakfast is adequate with a good choice of food available. Tea & coffee making facilities are not provided and would be a nice touch if they were. The location is excellent with a good selection of restaurants and bars within a 20 minute walk from the hotel. Also, local buses stop outside the hotel. The hotel has its own driver (sorry I can't recall his name) who will take you to the town centre, station and to the airport for a reasonable price. The hotel is marketed as a 4* but in essence is a 3*. The hotel definitely lacked atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay but if we returned to Verona we would not stay in this hotel again.
