Residenza Giuseppe Verdi

It's a flat not a hotel, but you don't know that before arriving. The room is nice. The park is 25 euros which is huge compare to other parking in town and you have to move your car before 11,which means that you have to pay another place if you want to visit before leaving. There is no bin, the dishes and the bathroom were dirty. But the bed is good and big and the neighborhood is really calm. It was written in the announcement that we had the breakfast, but after confirmation and payment we received the information that the breakfast was pre-prepared food... It's a joke to call it a breakfast. The wifi doesn't work correctly, don't count on it.

Ok, the bad: The residence is part of the Gentleman of Verona hotel group but is about 700Meters away from the hotel in a separate building. You will need to call ahead to let them know what time they are arriving, so they can give you the keys to the gates and the doors. The Good: Hands down the most comfortable, highest value hotel i've stayed in in Europe. Up the curved stairs there are a pair of rooms. Our room was a 3 room complex with sittingroom, beautiful master bedroom with king size bed, modern clean bathroom with excellent shower and amenities. A simple cold breakfast and private expresso machine are in the room... oh, and the milk is in the mini fridge in the wardrobe, along with some complimentary water :) An easy walk to all the beautiful downtown attractions, and steps from great restaurants and the coliseum. My only regret, we only booked one night. I would go back to Verona in a heartbeat, and wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else. Just make sure you keep the phone numbers and address of the gentleman of verona hotel on hand for your check in.

The hotel is amazing, perfect location, 2 minutes from the Arena, room is very comfortable, breakfast is big and really nice, conditions were super, the staff were very friendly and helpful, will definitely book again here if I plan to visit verona again
