Xtabi on the Cliffs

I've passed Xtabi several times heading to other restaurants. However...on the way to my reservation (elsewhere) in our taxis with 25 others, I was advised that our reservation was cancelled. The driver suggested Xtabi. Since we were left with no plan B,. we took his suggestion. We get there and our server, I can't remember his name, and the waitress welcome us with "No Problem". I felt like they wanted to take care of us. They really did save the day. The waiters attitude made our wait a non issue. We had a group of this size with NO RESERVATION and they welcomed us with opened arms. Our food orders were accurate and more than anything, he and the server put us at ease. Xtabi, you are my new spot!!! Thank you!!!

Beautiful spot. I stayed here 2005-2006 for 4 months. Because of where it is and the price is low. I was diving most every day. In the water mostly. The rooms were a problem because I stupidly trusted this one housekeeper. She ripped me off slowly. The owner is a monster, very cruel to employees. And one of the bartenders is very malicious and inappropriate. One guy that made a little money diving for people hung out there. One day he invited me to a 'secret diving spot ' he was friendly with the thief housekeeper. He tried to drown me. Almost succeeded. I believe there was a plan to rip me off when I drowned. But it didn't happen. Do not stay in the rooms. So many gigilos around too. Big No. When I stopped by last year...same vibes. I stayed at the Rock House. Fabulous. Hotel looks after you. Much better.

Spectacular sunset. Good food. Romantic exerience. Good, not great, food.
