I decided on this hotel because it was close to Laguna and the buffet was delicious after looking at various websites, but... my personal impression was that it was a bit disappointing. At other hotels, the buffet is like having food served in front of you, but this wasn't the case. The sashimi was small and I wonder if the negative reviews were fake? I've stayed at many places, but Nakai here... he talks to his friends happily, but his customer service is not good. He doesn't smile... Only the health tea was good. This is just my personal opinion, so I'm sorry if it wasn't helpful.

We were doing a trip around the Ise Bay and Gamagori is our first stop. Not a lot of choice of hotels around this area. We pick this one because of the free parking, onsen available, and ocean view from room. We selected the traditional room because we like the experience of sleeping on the tatami. The overall experience is good. The breakfast was nice. Lots of families as it's summer time. The onsen is also good.

I thought this hotel was in good location for looking around sights in Gamagori. We went to the "あじさいの里 (hydrangea village) " that is less than 10 minutes walk from the bus stop "Katanara-Onsen". The information and service from the staff at this hotel is not bad. We could find much information of the option tours on the bulletin board around the entrance of elevator. I think if you ask their staffs something about the option tours they will kindly explain you about the detail. The description about Miya-Matsuri in the book which was in the guest room was very interesting. I could know that the Miya-Matsuri is the traditional and has become fountainheads of the power of people who live in this town. It would be nice if I could stay at this hotel in the festival season. I like the atmosphere of the inside of this hotel including the costume of their staffs.
