In May of this year, my family and I went to the Chita Peninsula in Nagoya, Japan, and stayed at the Genjika Ryokan. This experience was undoubtedly the highlight of my trip and gave me a deeper understanding and appreciation of Japan’s traditional culture and natural beauty. The moment I arrived at Genji Incense, I was attracted by its unique design and tranquil atmosphere. Every plant, tree, brick and tile here is full of Japanese style. We were greeted by kimono-clad staff, whose smiles and politeness made us feel extremely warm. This sincere enthusiasm made me feel like I had returned to a long-lost home as soon as I stepped into the hotel door. My room is a traditional Japanese-style room with a continuous sea view outside the window. Pushing open the paper sliding door, the cool sea breeze blows in your face, with a hint of sea salt, which is refreshing. The layout of the room is simple yet elegant. The texture of the tatami and the warmth of the wooden furniture make people feel a strong Japanese style. Every detail reveals the hotel's care for its guests. Genjika’s cuisine is an eye-opener for me. Dinner is an exquisite kaiseki meal, and every dish is as exquisite as a work of art. Not only are the ingredients fresh, but the cooking techniques are also exquisite. Whether it's sashimi that melts in your mouth or grilled fish with a fragrant aroma, every bite makes me appreciate the gifts of nature and the ingenuity of the chef. These delicacies not only satisfy the taste buds, but also provide a profound experience of Japanese food culture. In addition, the hot spring in the hotel was also a highlight of my trip. Soak in the warm spring water and your fatigue will disappear instantly. When night falls, look up at the starry sky and relax your body and mind completely. The pure water quality of the hot springs greatly relaxed and soothed my body and mind. When I looked up, I could see the starry sky and airplanes flying slowly from time to time. This stay at Genjixiang not only allowed me to appreciate the natural beauty of the peninsula, but also made me deeply feel the essence of Japanese culture. Every smile, every dish, every hot spring bath is full of warmth and care. This trip made me fall in love with Japan even more, and I am deeply grateful to every staff member at Genjixiang. Their efforts made my trip so beautiful and unforgettable. Genji Incense is not only a place to stay, but also a warm place that comforts the soul. I firmly believe that every guest here can find their own peace and happiness here. I look forward to one day in the future when I can set foot on the Chita Peninsula again and feel the unique and profound touch that Genji incense brings me.

A classic Japanese-style hot spring inn, quaint and clean. Good for experiencing traditional Japanese ryokan hospitality. 1. Service: Excellent. Staff always available for assistance. I appreciated the staff recognize guests before introduction. 2. Rooms: Spacious with great views, overlooking Ise Bay. Tatami mats and Japanese bedding provide a fantastic experience. Amenities are plentiful. 3. Onsen: The outdoor hot springs offer stunning views of Ise Bay. Perfect for watching the sunset while soaking. The women's baths are two pools: a wooden tub and a stone-lined one. Although the stone pool had some bird droppings on the rocks, unsure when they would be cleaned. 4. Dining: First experience with kaiseki cuisine, unsure if it's authenticity. It was delicious, particularly enjoyed the grilled wagyu. Arrangements were made in advance for those who don't eat sashimi whith additional costs, which was convenient for guests with dietary restrictions. Breakfast was also substantial, unexpectedly enjoyed the grilled blowfish fillets. 5. Experience: Women can choose from a variety of beautiful yukatas to wear for bathing and dining. Although I found it a bit challenging despite instructional videos. You also can try on the formal kimono provided in the lobby, which is a rare free experience. Grateful for the hotel's offer of a complimentary stay for Taiwanese guests who recommend them on social media, which includes one night's accommodation with two meals. However, if evaluating based on the regular price for one night's stay with meals, it might seem overpriced.

The scenery is super beautiful, the balcony of the room faces the sea, and you can see the sunset in the evening and the sunrise in the morning. Although it is next to the sea, there is no sea breeze and there is no light pollution nearby, so when walking around the hotel in the middle of the night, you can see the starry sky when you look up. The room is spacious and comfortable, the dinner and breakfast are delicious, the hotel staff is friendly and friendly, and the open-air bath is very comfortable (and has a complete range of skin care products). There are welcome refreshments and experience activities in the hotel. Among them, I recommend everyone to try the daki experience. There are three colors of daki to choose from. There are also props and paper umbrellas. The staff will help with dressing and taking photos. There are also five different kinds of incense sticks in the room, so that everyone can experience the elegance of Japanese incense. Will definitely visit again if I have the chance!
