The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Nagoya Station, making it very convenient for exploring Nagoya. The room is rather small; fortunately, we had booked a twin room. A refrigerator, free water, and stable Wi-Fi are available. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing is that the bed could have been a bit softer. The cleanliness in the room was very good. However, without ventilation, the air quickly became stuffy. The shower curtain was clean but had loose threads on all sides, which one would not expect in a 4-star hotel. The Family Mart is located right on the ground floor of the hotel, which was great. We would book the hotel again.

I’m a return guest owing to its convenient location and fair rate. Reception at check in was friendly although it was self check in hence self check in added inconveniences to guests. Spotted stain on the toilet seat which was unusual in Japan. Wall paper in the corridor on 7/F appeared severe damage especially outside the corner room. The couch on 3/F outside the onsen needed urgent replacement or resurfacing as the fabric has been severely damaged. Mainly western dishes were served at breakfast and more Japanese dishes would be more ideal.

We stayed here for three nights in a triple room which was an acceptable size. We had one large and one carry-on suitcase open and there was still enough space for three adults to walk around in. The hotel is conveniently located - it is right next to an underground shopping street which connects to Nagoya station and Kokusai Centre station, so we could stay out of the rain and the hot summer sun. However, there is a long flight of stairs between the underground shopping street and ground level, so it would not be convenient if you are carrying heavy suitcases or if you have mobility issues. If it is your first time to Nagoya, it would be easier to head to the hotel using the overground route, as the underground passageways can be disorienting at first. Front desk staff were great and helped us with restaurant reservations a few times, but housekeeping was inconsistent. They gave us new pyjamas every day but did not refill the tea box at all during our stay.
