The breakfast buffet rice is not warm. It was uncomfortable. The rice is probably made from Akitakomachi because of its location, but I don't think that's a good side dish at all, or even if a new building has just been built. The next day we stayed at Hotel Route Inn Odate Station South, but the rice was steaming properly. Why is this difference between the same hotel chain?

After the shock that I got from my previous hotel in Japan I was prepared for what I found. There was still no English channel on the TV but the electric kettle worked well as did the AC. The staff was very friendly and even started to say 'good morning" in English. Despite being in a non smoking room the non smoking did not refer to the lifts that had a stale cigarette odour. The breakfast was interesting with always some vegetables available so I had something to eat. The LAN was OK but my lead had a broken end and the contact slipped. The hotel gave a router which solved the problem and the internet was stable and fast.
