Hotel Sunroute Patio Goshogawara

My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Sunroute Patio and really enjoyed our stay. The price was reasonable and the room very comfortable. It’s in central Goshogawara and would be great if you’re visiting the area, especially during the Tachinebuta festival in early August. They have a wonderful and friendly staff member who speaks English well and is happy to help with any hotel needs or provide advice on places to visit. The staff is all very accommodating and wants to ensure you have a great visit. The breakfast is also quite good and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this hotel!

My stay was pleasant enough. The hotel and rooms were all clean and in good order. For American guests, be prepared that rooms at hotels here are very, very small. Not at all what you are used to at home. This was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed at. The staff were extraordinarily polite and accommodating, best service. I had breakfast at the hotel every day and it was always excellent. You can choose an American type breakfast or local. I chose local, which has fish choices. Never was disappointed. A good and comfortable stay.
