Hotel Mets Hachinohe

Although it is convenient to connect directly to Hachinohe Station, the inferior facilities are not cheap, and it is thought that a national chain of business hotels in front of the station would be better cost-effective. Single rooms are cramped and dark to read.

We toured around Aomori prefecture and used it as a pre-night stay for Shinkansen travel after the trip. It was a family trip of 4 people, so we had 2 single rooms. The rooms and the building in general were very beautifully renovated and I felt comfortable.

I stayed here to catch the first train from Hachinohe on a business trip to Aomori. The hotel is directly connected to the station so it was convenient as you could access it immediately after exiting the ticket gate. The room was little more than a business hotel, but I was only there to sleep so it wasn't a problem. I didn't have time to scout out the restaurants in the area, but there were definitely no options so I think it would be better to avoid going if you were looking for food. There was a small convenience store inside the station. What I liked was the breakfast. The restaurant in the station is open as a breakfast venue and you can eat from 6:15am so you can make it in time for the first train. The rice cracker soup and dashi chazuke were delicious and I was satisfied from the morning.
