Hotel Grandmer Sankaisou

I have stayed at the Grand Mer Sankai Villa several times. We feel that this inn has great potential, such as the atmosphere and service in the facility. This time I used the terrace facing the sea for the first time, and it was very good, but there was one thing I couldn't help but be curious about. It's about the volume and the way background music is. Personally, I wanted to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the hot springs, the natural atmosphere and the sea, but unfortunately the music was playing quite loudly outside and it felt very loud. To put it bluntly, people in the city would love to hear the sounds of nature, but I felt that the music at a high volume was still rural. I never felt it in the lounge, so I think it is still a desire to hear the sounds of nature when you are in it. In luxury hotels and spas in Europe and the United States, 'silence' itself is seen as the best hospitality and luxury, and great care has been taken to produce the sound so as not to disturb the relaxing time of the guests themselves. I believe that modern travel requires not too much sonic direction, but consideration of such “aesthetics of subtraction” and respect for personal time. I think guests who want to hear music will listen to it through earphones. In public spaces, we sincerely hope that everyone can maintain a calm sound environment (or a pleasant silent space) where they can truly relax. We stayed as wedding anniversary. Located on a hill, the view over the Sea of Japan is breathtaking. There was a sense of cleanliness in the facility and I was able to spend it comfortably. The food is buffet, and it's too good to eat in the morning and evening. What surprised me was how well the employees were treated and how thoughtful each person was. All-inclusive, very satisfying. It is also a hotel I want to visit.

A hotel overlooking the town of Ajigasawa. It is a hotel that you want to go from Kanagawa every year. It's the only place I've been to five times.
