Hotel Nankaiso

It was a tour stay, but the large room with four beds overlooks Nojimazaki Lighthouse. Just across the road, on the shoreline, there are people fishing for shore. Both morning and evening are crowded with Vikings, but the food was delicious with lots of seafood. I'm also happy for free drinks. I had my first turban shell grilled, but I was confused because I didn't know how well it should cook. I wish there was an explanation. Too bad the hot springs don't have an open air. The large tub is tiled and tastes like Showa.

My husband was interested in learning that we could enjoy shellfish grilling on the tabletop stove at dinner, so I made a Reservation from the hotel website and stayed. On weekdays when I stayed, there were mainly elderly customers, and the food menu seemed to go well with alcohol. I didn't have much of a child's favorite. The Western-style room on the 8th floor was spacious enough for two people, and although it was an old building, the waterways were well renovated. No musty smell. The wifi is very strong, you can work remotely, you can watch videos easily. Dinner is a buffet, so you can have whatever you want. To be honest, there aren't many items, but you can grill as many turban shells, scallops and shrimps as you like on the table, and the freshly fried tempura and fresh warasa sashimi were delicious. In addition, beer, shochu, sake, wine and highball are also included in the room rate, so it is perfect for those who like alcohol rather than eating it. Breakfast was also good enough, although there was not much on the menu: egg dishes, sausages, several ready meals, dried fish, bread, rice, porridge, fruit and coffee. The large public bath was a popular inn in the Showa period itself, and the atmosphere was good. The facility is old but never filthy. The quality of the springs was also good. Steps and stairs, which are common in old inns, are spread all over the building and you may not enjoy them if you have a weak back.

The room had a view of the ocean. The evening buffet had fresh and delicious yellowtail, and the steak and tempura were cooked right in front of us, with tender meat and shrimp tempura. We grilled our own seafood and ate turban shells and scallops. The all-you-can-drink alcohol had a wide variety of options, which was fun. There was an observation deck just a short walk away, so we could do some sightseeing. It's also recommended for small children to play on the beach.
